1. Thorough inspection upon receipt
Each garment is checked upon arrival: labels are inspected, fibers are analyzed, and stains are identified and carefully examined before being washed or cleaned. This diagnosis allows us to tailor the treatment precisely and direct each item to the most appropriate service (dry cleaning, washing, Maxima cleaning, or stain removal).
This first step allows for a tailor-made treatment that respects the materials.
2. Targeted spot cleaning
Manual stain removal is first carried out using products suited to the nature of the stain and the fabric.
For the most difficult stains, our teams only perform two stain removal cycles to avoid the risk of damaging the fabric or affecting the color of your items.
Leave your items with us with complete confidence; our teams of experts will find the solution to restore your clothes to like-new condition.
Practical advice before dropping off your items:
Drop off your clothes quickly: the more recent the stain, the easier it is to remove.
Refuse the stain remover spray offered by your restaurant. This may cause a ring or even set the stain.
Do not wash the item yourself before bringing it in: improper washing can set the stain.
Tell us about the nature of your stains when you drop off your items at the store and follow our tips to limit the damage.
3. Dry cleaning or custom washing
Each garment and textile requires special treatment. Some care labels recommend dry cleaning, while others recommend simple washing. The job of our teams of experts at 5àsec is to analyze the garment and its composition in order to provide the most appropriate cleaning.
Laundry washing uses a range of detergent products developed exclusively by 5àsec that purify, degrease, soften, and, if necessary, bleach textiles. These processes are combined with mechanical action, the right temperature, and a specific amount of time allocated to the required treatment.
Laundry washing essentially requires water, which can be drying for certain fragile fibers. This is why many of your delicate garments are labeled as dry clean only.
To do this, several types of solvents used today are new alternative solvents, such as KVL, which provides optimal results.
A dry cleaning machine is similar to a washing machine, but it is larger and operates in a closed circuit: the solvent is recovered by a recycling system, filtered, and reused during the next cleaning cycle.
Thanks to our Research and Development department, 5àsec continues to exclusively test new products coming onto the market. We develop innovative and alternative solutions with an increasingly eco-responsible approach in order to offer the best solutions to our customers.
Practical advice before dropping off your laundry:
Each garment requires a specific treatment: specific laundry washing, appropriate stain removal, recommended dry cleaning, etc.
Do not cut off your labels. Without a label, your garment no longer has its identity card.
4. Post-cleaning quality control
After the cycle (45–90 min), each garment is checked for stains, intact seams, and buttons in place. A second stain removal or cleaning is considered if necessary to ensure a perfect result.
Benefits: impeccable quality that meets your standards.
